ALIST Consulting

Connecting community to inspire action and drive growth in small business.

Community Driven

ALIST was established by Amanda Mailey in 2016 to connect BIPOC entrepreneurs to BIPOC creative professionals. By 2020, we specialized in marketing and business solutions for the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs, women of color. By 2022, we developed a subsidizing revenue stream of annual community donors and sponsors to invest back into our WSW shared economy, among 500 women founders, with no membership fee. Founders simply show up when they can, how they can.

Investing in BIPOC owned businesses is a daily commitment and our core strategy to build equity in power and leadership in the world. Our flexible pay as-you-need model is key for the ebb and flow of an owner’s journey. With ALIST you get to work with entrepreneurs, who can plug-in at any time to bridge the gap to growth.

Our WSW Story

Representation Matters

Often times women-owned businesses, and especially ones owned by women of color, aren’t the front page of mainstream media. It creates a feeling that it doesn’t exist, but in reality it’s one of the fastest growing demographics of entrepreneurs. Through the grace of local founders sharing their story with ALIST, we’re creating a place to read their stories. We hope they inspire another generation of entrepreneurs.
