15 Ways to Support
Women This Women’s History Month!
In March, we’re hosting our annual Dine Out for WSW food tour for the second year in a row. Kicking off on International Women’s Day Sunday, March 8th, the campaign runs the full week until Saturday, 3/14/26. Enjoy delicious featured specials and help raise money for programming dedicated to advancing female entrepreneurship.
After an application process, we’ve selected 15 women owned Food & Beverage brands to participate including Blends Juice Bar, Boba Gems, Fork And Spoon Food House, La Akateka Maya Food, La Floridita PDX, Likely Ivy, Memento Mori Cafe, Mestizo, Pamana, Pasar, Red Sauce Pizza, Sandy's Myanmar Cuisine, Tipsy Scoop Portland, Wajan, and YUI. They have chosen a featured item(s) and a portion of the proceeds are going to our WSW Community Fund, which funds seed money and in kind services from women freelancers to bring women entrepreneurs' ideas to life.
Grab your friends and start planning meet ups between March 8-14th. I can't think of a better way to celebrate Women's History Month! All female participants also identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ owned and the locations stretch from Troutdale to Beaverton, OR. Come out to support!
OnPoint Community Credit Union is sponsoring the first 10 purchases at each location receiving $5 off and Intentionalist is offering to match anything we raise up to $1500. We’re currently accepting other partnerships to increase our impact.

In 2022, ALIST launched the Women Supporting Women (WSW) Founder Meet Ups to bring much needed support to the restaurant industry. For 10 months, this event series distributed $28,416.74 across 30+ women-owned businesses, while keeping 300+ founders inspired and motivated in the middle of a pandemic. 3 years later, the restaurant industry is helping raise money to fund WSW programming. It’s such a fun full circle moment. We’ve built an incredible ecosystem together. Come out a try delicious items at 17 locations to choose from starting March 8-14.
2025 was a transformational year for ALIST and the WSW community it cultivates. Download the latest impact report to learn how one freelance strategist is building a self-sustaining ecosystem to advance female entrepreneurship. This report highlights the wins and case studies our community activations led by ALIST in partnership with local entrepreneurs.
Crowdfunding for Women Founders
Since 2020, women of color are the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs despite receiving less than 1% of venture capital funding. To advance female entrepreneurship, we need equity models that invest in and connect the community across all backgrounds, industries, and stages of business. Since 2022, ALIST starts a new annual GoFundMe campaign to provide grants and subsidize the cost of hiring women to support women. Hundreds of people have invested over 150K in the last 4 years. Please help us get to 6.5K to offer our grants in 2026.
Not only will we raise money for local women owned small businesses, but we will also drive foot traffic to the amazing spots who support us in this collective Women’s History Month campaign.
Watch The 2025 Recap
On March 12, 2025, 9 different locations collectively raised $1514 and funded one of our $1500 WSW Meet Up Host grants. ALIST owner, Amanda Mailey, toured to all the participating spots and captured this fun video. We hope to double out impact this year with your help.
